Valerie Masters works on all cases personally, your case will not be handled by a junior associate.
After graduating from Emory University in 1992, I moved to New York City to attend New York Law School. At New York Law I was chosen to be one of a handful of law students in the city to intern at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. At the DA’s office I gained first hand knowledge of the inner workings of the prosecution. Between my first and second years in school I worked at the Manhattan Division of the Legal Aid Society. The Legal Aid Society is the New York equivalent of the Public Defender’s Office in Florida.
In 1995 I was recruited by the Office of The Public Defender in Palm Beach County. During my 8 years with the office I handled every type of criminal case imaginable and helped literally thousands of clients. I have sat first chair in more than 50 jury trials and participated countless bench trials. I also had the privilege of attending the Criminal Defense College in San Diego, California where the leading criminal defense attorneys in the country pass on their expertise.
In 2004 I opened Valerie Masters P.A. a private firm concentrating on criminal and family law. I am licensed in Florida, New York, Washington, D.C., and the Southern and Central Districts of Florida. I can help you navigate the criminal justice system at any stage whether you are a target of an investigation, have been formally charged, need a bond hearing, or have appellate issues. My office is always opened to help you days, nights, and weekends.
